LG’s LU1400 swivels right into your heart

It’s not every day that you see a wide VGA swivel with DMB support launching in South Korea. Oh, wait — yes it is! The LU1400 from LG doesn’t bring anything particularly new or fabulous to the table, but just about anything with a 2.8-inch 800 x 480 display is still pretty fabulous by our count. It’s got a 3-megapixel cam, and if you care to take your glorious little toy outside the homeland, the LU1400 will roam on CDMA in 18 countries around the globe (including the States). And yes, if we see someone walking around New York with one of these, we will yoink it right out of their unsuspecting hands. Just a fair warning.

We’ve gotten a few decent looks at the LG Prada II in weeks past, but the Daily Mobile Forum has happened upon a veritable treasure chest of views of the device in glorious detail — which, if you didn’t already know — is now on sale in Europe. LG promises 10 megapixel cameraphones

10 megapixel camera phones, or more, HD video on your mobi and even speech recognition GPS technology… these were amongst the bold promises being made by LG at a London gathering this week.
The phone manufacturer invited a select few journalists to have a chat about converging technology – focusing on its new KC-910 mobile phone – which, as well as having an 8 megapixel camera, also offers a whole host of image and video editing tools, Dolby sound and DivX compatibility. (more…)
